The backtest was done on the 2nd of April 2026, so the data stopped over there. At that point, we still had a short opened. So the short was not closed, but it was the latest data available.

Just looking at the trade history. Why did it close the last short position? Based on the live chart they didn't cross on the 2nd of April..

Only 2020 and 2024 were dominated by B&H. The other years the strategy is outperforming, averaging an overall ann. return of 205% vs. 26%.

Say you have a account of 10000usdt that you would dedicate to this strategy. Considering the 2x leverage from the backtest, would you then open a 20.000 position of both bitcoin and bittensor, or 10000 each? (I understand that you need more leverage to open these position sizes considering the account size). Just trying to understand how you would get the historical performance in practise.

Hi Gerhard, Please can you explain more on the "Lev Mode - Optimal", I mean how it will work in live enviroment or maybe you can share it with sample data. I know for shorts we will set and forget but for Long will update the leverage daily, this part i am not sure how you will do it. thanks

I think the consistency of the return can be evaluated based on the "value in Ethereum" chart
